Boil Water Notice

PB&SC Water Supply has issued a Boil Water Notice for ALL members on Well #1 due to a main line break that required the water to be shut off.
The Texas Commission on Enviromental Quality has required PB&SC Water Supply to notify all customers in the affected area to9 boil their water prior to consumption (eg., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc.). Children, seniorsn and persons with weakend immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria and all customers should follow these directions.
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, PB&SC Water officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking and human consumption purposes.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, espcially those who may not have received this notice directly.

Main Line Break

Well #1 -
Attention customers, our contractor has located the leak. In order to make the needed repairs the water is going to be turned off. Once the repairs are made, we will have to issue a Boil Water Notice. This leak is in a 3' main line. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your understanding.

We have received multiple calls in reference to low to no water pressure. This is affecting customers on Well #1. Our contractor is out attempting to locate the issue in order to make the needed repairs. We will keep you updated as we can. We apologize for the inconvenience.
